Makai Polk, 3-star athlete, has Oregon State Beavers in final 6, announcing commitment Friday

The Oregon State Beavers football program has been red hot on the recruiting trail when it comes to college football's unofficial free agency.

In the past few weeks, Jonathan Smith and his coaching staff have added three former four-star prospects via transfer with Nebraska quarterback Tristan Gebbia and linebacker Avery Roberts and Oklahoma linebacker Addison Gumbs, and are hoping to continue that momentum in the prep ranks.

This week, 247Sports three-star athlete Makai Polk announced he is down to a final six of Arizona, California, Colorado State, Oregon State, Tennessee and UNLV and will announce his college commitment Friday:

The 6-foot-4, 184-pound pass-catcher, out of El Cerrito High School (El Cerrito, California), has yet to take his official visit to Oregon State, but there remains some hope the Beavers secure his commitment.
