FAIRFAX, Calif. – The Oregon State women's golf team shot 297, 16 strokes fewer than the first round, over the second 18 Monday to stand in 12 place at the prestigious Meadow Club Intercollegiate.
Sophomore fired an even-par 72 in the second round, including carding three birdies, over the 6,167-yard Meadow Club Course.
Senior carded a 71 in the second round with three birdies to move up to a tie for 23- place. Benzin meanwhile is within one shot of the top-10 standing alone in 15at 147. The Tacoma, Wash., native has already finished in the top 10 of four of the first six tournaments of the year.
