The Oregon State Beavers football program didn't get a win this weekend, but there were several positive takeaways.
First, after falling behind 31-7 against Boise State, Oregon State rallied to cut the deficit to a two-score game before suffering a 38-24 loss.
It wasn't pretty, but it was encouraging.
The news got better for the Beavers on Sunday, as 247Sports three-star defensive end Lorenzo Fauatea committed to Oregon State over offers from Hawaii, Utah, Utah State and Weber State.
