SAN FRANCISCO – Oregon State catcher Logan Ice has been named the Pac-12 Conference’s Player of the Week, commissioner Larry Scott announced on Tuesday.
Ice had a spectacular week for the Beavers as they took two over San Diego and one over William & Mary. The junior was 6-for-8 with a double, triple, two home runs and eight runs batted in. He also walked three times.
He punctuated his weekend with a 3-for-4 effort against William & Mary in the first game of Saturday’s doubleheader. He homered twice, including a three-run shot in the third, and also tripled in two runs to help guide OSU to a 12-3 win.
