CORVALLIS – Oregon State held its first open practice of the spring Saturday at the Tommy Prothro Practice Fields, going through another 3-plus-hour day of work.
"It was a grind and that's exactly by design," Andersen said. "Those kids are tired today, they're leg weary, probably a bit mentally tired. ... At the end of the day, the strong will survive and that's exactly what we're trying to get out of this camp."
The team will have Sunday off, watch film that night and then be back at practice on Monday and Tuesday.
