CORVALLIS –Oregon State rower Lauren Still was among the honorees when the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA) announced the 2015 Pocock All-America award winners Monday.
These awards recognize the outstanding performances of rowers and coxswains on the national level in women's collegiate rowing.
For Still, a senior from Grants Pass, Ore., the award puts a cap on a stellar two-year rowing career at Oregon State. As a junior in 2013-14, Still learned to row joining the Beavers’ novice program and worked her way into the Varsity 8 crew early that season en route to earning the Pac-12 Conference’s Newcomer of the Year award.
