Late Goals Doom Beavers in Pullman

PULLMAN, Wash. — The Oregon State women's soccer team fell to Washington State, 2-1 on Thursday night at Lower Soccer Field.

Oregon State (6-10-2, 1-8 Pac-12) was efficient in its shot selection, tallying just 10 shots-five in the first half, with two on frame. Washington State (7-9-1, 2-7 Pac-12) racked up 23 shots, while only putting six on the mark. Junior Bella Geist finished with four saves after seeing nine corner kicks from the Cougars.

Nikki Faris started the scoring early after a header in the eighth minute gave the Beavers a 1-0 lead.
