CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Oregon State softball team rallied late in the sixth inning to comeback to defeat No. 10/11 Utah, 3-1 and to take the series for the first time since 2013. made her second start of the series in the circle and allowed just one run on two hits. The lefty has held the Utes to just three hits in the series after pitching a one-hit shutout in Friday's 5-0 victory.
Neither team scored a run through the first four innings as the Beavers stranded six batters and the Utes three.
Utah broke the drought in the top of the fifth as a line shot hit the left-field foul pole for a solo home run.
