Coming off last week’s 69-50 win over Kent State, a tough team from Mid Atlantic Conference who then knocked off Texas on Tuesday night, Oregon State somehow heads into the first game on their Pac-12 slate with a bit of momentum and confidence.
And they’ll need it.
Following a brutal non-conference portion to their schedule, where Oregon State suffered defeats to the likes of Lamar and Savannah State, head coach Wayne Tinkle and company now enter their league schedule at a 4-9 clip, with an unbeaten and well-tested Trojans team heading to Corvallis. To say the task ahead is monumental would be a severe and vast understatement but remember now, this is a USC program that hasn’t won in their last seven trips to Gill Coliseum.
