Kevin McGiven, Oregon State offensive coordinator, says Beavers must 'define' starting quarterback early in 2017

Next up is offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach Kevin McGiven, who is coming off his first season calling plays in the Pac-12 for a Beavers unit that found success controlling the pace with the run game but still has instability at quarterback.

When you look at the whole picture of the 2016 season, what are your biggest takeaways?

When you win a couple Pac-12 games at the end of the year, you end the season on a good note, it does give you a lot of momentum going forward.
