Redshirt-senior leads the Beavers on and off the field
One word describes Kathryn Baker: Competitor
On the field, Baker is the heart of the Beaver defense and a fierce competitor, never wanting to leave the pitch. All but one game she has played in at Oregon State she has been a starter in and twice in her career she has tallied the second most minutes on the team for a season, both times only trailing the goalkeeper in the category. On the pitch, she is not only a key defender for the Beaver squad, but also an important leader for the team as someone that has been through some of the most field time on the club
"Having her as a leader is very important for our team," said Beaver head coach Linus Rhode.
