The Oregon State Beavers football program hosted a collection of top Oregon high school football players over the weekend, and extended a major scholarship offer to McNary sophomore linebacker Junior Walling.
It was the first offer for the 6-foot-2, 215-pound 'backer, one that left an immediate impression.
"It is truly an honor to receive a Pac-12 offer so early in the process," Walling said. "This type of recognition really validates all the work I have put in and reinforces the need to keep working hard on the field, in the weight room and in the classroom. The first offer coming from Oregon State is extra special, as I have been a Beaver fan all my life, and the thought of playing for the same school my dad played for is exciting for me and my entire family.
