CORVALLIS — If Gary Andersen were to construct the perfect outside linebacker, he would not exactly look like the true freshman version of Joah Robinett.
The Oregon State coach jokes Robinett weighs 186 pounds "soaking wet." Actually, Robinett weighed in at 240 pounds Wednesday, but that's still undersized for his 6-foot-8 frame.
Yet with injuries hitting that position, Robinett's redshirt got pulled last weekend against California. He started and made five tackles, earning "Champions Club" distinction for his performance in his collegiate debut.
"I'm not the biggest, I'm not the strongest and I'm not the fastest," Robinett said.
