Joah Robinett moving from outside linebacker to tight end for Oregon State Beavers

CORVALLIS -- Oregon State's Joah Robinett is moving from outside linebacker to tight end, coach Gary Andersen told The Oregonian/OregonLive Tuesday.

"It's still an experiment at this point, but it's an experiment that I really believe is gonna work out," Andersen said. "The key is that he buys into it and is excited about the opportunity and understands, 'This is where my future could be to be a very good Division I football player in the Pac-12.'"

Robinett, who played tight end in high school, joins Noah Togiai, Tuli Wily-Matagi and Quinn Smith at that position. Additionally, Bryce Bramscher and Jack Holum will join the program as preferred walk-ons this summer.
