PHILADELPHIA – Oregon State junior running back Jermar Jefferson has been named to the watch list for the Maxwell Award, which is given annually to the nation's most outstanding player in college football.
The honor is the fourth of the week for Jefferson. He was named the Pac-12 Player of the Week on Monday, in addition to being selected to the Paul Hornung Award Honor Roll. On Tuesday, he was named to the watch list for the National Performer of the Year per the College Football Performance Awards.
The honors come on the heels of Jefferson's record-breaking performance against Oregon.
