It was a bit a surprise commitment and represented a shining moment for Oregon State Beavers football recruiting.
With hats for Alabama, Nebraska, Notre Dame and Washington State also on the at the U.S. Army All-American Bowl, 247Sports four-star wide receiver Jamire Calvin picked the orange Beavers hat and committed to Oregon State.
But Calvin's recruitment may not be over.
In an interview with Omaha World-Herald, Yana Johnson, Calvin's mother, indicated that he is still strongly considering Nebraska, and switched to the Beavers largely because of concerns about getting his family to games.
