DALLAS — Scott Rueck's favorite Jamie Weisner moment Saturday was the one nobody beyond the Beavers' locker room walls could have witnessed.
With Oregon State shooting a blistering 58.1 percent but only up seven points at halftime of its Sweet 16 matchup against DePaul, the Beavers coach asked his players how they were feeling.
"I think we can crank it up a notch," Weisner said.
Weisner channeled that mentality into the best night of her career on the biggest national stage her team has ever experienced, pouring in 38 points to propel OSU to the Elite Eight for the first time in school history thanks to an 83-71 victory Saturday at American Airlines Center.
