Since Gary Andersen took over as the head coach of the Oregon State football program, his staff has made a point of going after top targets regardless of the competition.
The latest example comes from Desert Ridge High School (Mesa, Arizona), where 247Sports three-star defensive end Jalen Harris is set to visit both the Oregon Ducks and Oregon State Beavers early next week.
The 6-foot-3, 210-pound defensive lineman also holds offers Arizona, Arizona State, Colorado State, Illinois, Iowa State, New Mexico State, San Diego State, UCF, UNLV, Utah State and Washington.
But next week's focus will be a trip up North to check out Eugene and Corvallis.
