CORVALLIS, Ore. – Oregon State left-handed pitcher has been named a First-Team Freshman All-American by D1Baseball.com, it was announced on Thursday.
With the recognition, Mulholland, a native of Snohomish, Wash., is a unanimous Freshman All-American, as he has also been honored by Collegiate Baseball, Baseball America, Perfect Game and the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA).
Mulholland went 7-1 in 2017, posting a 1.20 earned run average, which is the fourth-lowest in Oregon State history among pitchers with at least 40 innings of work. He earned six saves, struck out 44 to 12 walks and held opponents to a .
