CORVALLIS -- In the late-night hours following a blowout loss at Colorado State, Jake Luton could not sleep.
The Oregon State starting quarterback let the world know on Twitter, complete with the emoji of a head resting on its hands. He was still coming down from the adrenaline of his first game in a Beavers uniform, he said, and thinking about the throws he wished he could have back.
After a couple days to study film, meet with teammates and coaches and, yes, sleep, Luton's OSU debut could be characterized as productive yet still "quite a bit inconsistent.
