Jake Dukart is a 6-foot-1, 180-pound quarterback and baseball star for Lake Oswego high school. Jake announced his decision via Twitter Thursday evening.
Last month, Jake decommitted from Arizona State’s baseball program and started to focus more on football. It appears that will be the case at Oregon State as well. He will focus on football, but is also planning on competing on the baseball team.
This will be a big boost not only for Gary Andersen’s team but also Pat Casey’s. Division-I baseball teams are only allowed 11.7 scholarships per team, but with a 35-man roster most players are on partial scholarships.
