Jade Carey Earns a Pair of Silver Medals at US Championships

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Future Oregon State gymnast Jade Carey earned a pair of silver medals and finished seventh in the all-around Sunday at the U.S. Gymnastics Championships.

Carey entered Sunday's Day 2 competition in second place on vault and floor exercise after posting scores of 15.000 and 14.300, respectively, on Friday. Sunday evening, Carey added a 14.875 on the vault and 14.100 on the floor, scores that were bested only by Simone Biles.

She scored 53.850 in the all-around on Sunday, after notching a 56.100 on Friday, to finish seventh overall. She was 12th on the uneven bars and 13th on the balance beam.
