Jacquizz Rodgers has said all he wanted was a chance to prove he can be a starting running back in the NFL.
He's getting his chance.
The former Oregon State star is expected to start for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Sunday when they face the Carolina Panthers in their final game of the regular season. Rodgers will start in place of Doug Martin, who was suspended for four games ban for violation of the league's policy on performance-enhancing substances.
"This is what I worked for," Rodgers told espn.
