Jacob Bandes, nation's No. 3 DT, cuts list to 8; Ducks in, Beavers out

The college football recruiting dead period is a good time for prospects to sit back, reflect and commit or narrow down their list of options.

For 247Sports four-star prospect Jacob Bandes, the nation's No. 3 defensive tackle, it was time to cut down his list to a top eight.

The 6-foot-3, 295-pound defensive lineman, out of Pittsburg High School (Antioch, California), narrowed down his options to California, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Ole Miss, Oregon, Purdue and Washington:

Bandes' stock has soared in recent weeks, as he earned DL MVP of The Opening Finals in Dallas and skyrocketed up the 247Sports' recruiting rankings.
