The Oregon State Beavers football program has been in the market for a second quarterback commitment since Spencer Petras flipped to the Iowa Hawkeyes in mid-December.
After taking some time to sort through the contenders, new coach Jonathan Smith and his staff have centered their search on Arizona Western College quarterback Jack Colletto, who has four years to play three.
The 6-foot-3, 220-pound signal-caller, originally out of Camas High School (Washington), visited Corvallis over the weekend and came away with a lot of positive takeaways.
"I really liked the visit - there wasn't really any negatives," Colletto said.
