Jack Anderson Named Pac-12 BSB Scholar-Athlete Of The Year

SAN FRANCISCO – Oregon State redshirt senior outfielder Jack Anderson has been named the Pac-12's 2018 Baseball Scholar-Athlete of the Year, the conference announced on Tuesday.

Anderson is the second Beaver to earn the honor in as many years, following Max Engelbrekt in 2017. Engelbrekt was the first Oregon State player to be recognized since the then-Pac-10 created the award in 2008.

A native of Lake Oswego, Ore., Anderson recently graduated with a major in kinesiology (3.71 GPA) and minor in business. He announced prior to the season that he will attend Regis University in Denver starting in August, pursuing a graduate degree in physical therapy.
