VENICE, Italy – After spending two days in Florence, the Beavers headed to Italy’s Adriatic coast on Monday, as the team took the day to enjoy Venice.
Oregon State began the day with a bus ride, before taking a water-taxi into Venice. From there, the squad explored the canals, enjoyed the local shopping, sampled the cuisine, toured St. Mark’s Basilica and even had pigeons eat out of their hands.
“We saw a lot of cool things today,” said redshirt-sophomore Breanna Brown. “It was really cool to see St. Mark’s, and the water-taxi and the canals were very cool to experience.
