NAPLES, Italy – The Oregon State women's basketball team has officially arrived in Italy for its 2019 international tour.
After an extensive day of travel, the Beavers landed in Naples on Wednesday and jumped straight into their Italian experience.
"It's exciting to get to be immersed in a new culture," said freshman Kennedy Brown. "This is a great opportunity to have some new experiences, and to make memories. It's also great to spend this time with the team and get to know everyone better, and to explore Italy together."
The team enjoyed a bruschetta and pizza tasting at the Naples City Center, before embarking on a walking tour that featured views of multiple castles, a look at Naples' main square and a scenic view of the Italy coast as well as Mount Vesuvius.
