Isaiah Smalls, Oregon State 3-star TE pledge, says Beavers have silent commit

The Oregon State Beavers have just 16 spots available in the 2018 recruiting class, and the coaching staff is being forced to focus almost exclusively on areas of need along the depth chart.

But even with its need for a tight end, Scout three-star prospect Isaiah Smalls feels like a luxury addition.

The 6-foot-4, 220-pound pass-catcher, out of Dorsey High School (Los Angeles, California), committed to the Beavers over offers from Arizona, Arizona State, Cal, Colorado State, Fresno State, Hawaii, Purdue, Utah State and others.

Not only was he highly recruited, but Smalls also plans to become an early enrollee - he intends to room with Oregon State four-star quarterback pledge Spencer Petras - and has become an active recruiter for the Beavers.
