Isaiah Hodgins, 4-star WR, commits to Oregon State Beavers over Ducks, Cornhuskers

The Oregon State Beavers have made strides on the recruiting trail in the current cycle, but had yet to land a four-star playmaker in the class of 2017.

That changed in emphatic fashion Friday evening, as Rivals four-star wide receiver Isaiah Hodgins selected Oregon State over fellow finalists Oregon and Nebraska.

The 6-foot-3, 187-pound pass-catcher, out of Berean Christian High School (Walnut Creek, California), also held offers from Boise State, Colorado, Michigan, Purdue, Utah, Washington, Washington State, Wisconsin and others.

"I picked Oregon State, because I was comfortable there on my visit," he said.
