Former Beaver, and 2016 third-round draft pick of the Philadelphia Eagles Isaac Seumalo is making an impression during his rookie preseason in the NFL. Eagles offensive line coach Jeff Stoutland has been impressed with what he has seen from Seumalo so far, and with an offense that is going to throw the ball a lot that is a good sign.
Seumalo was projected to go later in the draft than he did, but he may have the chance to live up to his third-round expectations. Allen Barbre, the Eagles’ starting left guard last season, may be shifting over to right tackle to replace Lane Johnson.
