Oregon State (1-1) picked up their first win of the 2016 season beating Idaho State (1-2) 37-7 in Corvallis Saturday afternoon.
Oregon State won the coin flip and elected to receive the ball first. The Beavers picked up a big third down on the first drive thanks to a 44-yard catch and run by Paul Lucas. But, the drive stalled and Oregon State was forced to settle for a field goal, this would became somewhat of a problem in the first half but regardless Oregon State took the lead early 3-0.
On Idaho State’s first possession Failauga broke into the backfield and blind-sided Bengals QB, Tanner Gueller, and forced a fumble that was recovered by the Beavers.
