Arizona head coach Rich Rodriguez has faith that better days are ahead for Oregon State.
The Beavers are 2-8 (1-6 Pac-12) in their second season under Gary Andersen, the same overall record they had a year ago at this time. But results have gotten significantly closer in league games and OSU opened as a nine-point favorite over Arizona (2-8, 0-7) for their matchup Saturday at 7:30 p.m. in Reser Stadium.
After breaking down the Beavers in preparation of the game, Rodriguez came away with optimism for their future.
"They remind me a little bit of where Colorado was a year ago or two years ago," he said Monday, according to Tucson.
