Ice’s Double Wins It In The 11th

CORVALLIS, Ore. – Logan Ice drilled a 3-2 pitch off the wall in left for a run-scoring double to send the 11th-ranked Oregon State baseball team to a 5-4 win over Seattle in 11 innings Tuesday night at Goss Stadium at Coleman Field.

With Nick Madrigal on first after a two-out single, Ice battled for seven pitches against Seattle reliever Grant Gunning. Ice took the eighth pitch from the righty, and doubled halfway up the 14-foot wall in left. Madrigal, who was running on the pitch, easily scored from first, ending the more than four-hour game against the now 28-16 Redhawks.
