CORVALLIS, Ore. – Oregon State first baseman KJ Harrison and catcher Logan Ice have been named to the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) All-West Region Second Team, it was announced Wednesday.
The ABCA honor is the second of Harrison’s career following his second team selection last season. Ice, meanwhile, is honored for the first time.
Harrison, who accepted an invitation to play for Team USA Tuesday, was an All-Pac-12 Conference performer in 2016 after batting .265 with 14 doubles, four triples, 10 home runs and 47 runs batted in. He paced the conference with eight home runs and 30 RBI in Pac-12 action.
