Seattle, Wash. – Senior Lucinda Howard (pictured) set a school record in the triple jump and senior Sara Almen placed fourth in the high jump on Saturday to lead the Oregon State track & field team on the final day of the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Championships at the University of Washington.
Howard leapt 38-8.75, improving her old PR (37-4) by nearly 17 inches and breaking the former school record of 38-6.25, set last year by Michele Turney. She took 12th in the event.
Almen cleared 5-8.
