The magnitude of what Oregon State lost when defensive coordinator Kalani Sitake left to become BYU's head coach came into sharper focus on Monday.
Sitake was introduced Monday in Provo to glowing reviews.
He wouldn't talk about the composition of his coaching staff in the formal news conference.
But word quickly trickled out out that OSU linebackers coach Ilaisa Tuiaki would join Sitake at BYU. possibly as defensive coordinator.
Tuiaki might not come alone.
Deseret News columnist Dick Harmon writes that some OSU recruits -- two who have signed and are currently on LDS church missions, and a pair of 2016 commits -- could defect to the Cougars.
