Corvallis, Ore. – Senior Sammy Harrison (pictured) won three events and tied a season record for wins in an event on Wednesday to lead the Oregon State swim team in a 143-116 loss to Utah in a Pacific-12 Conference meet at the Osborn Aquatic Center.
Harrison took first in the 200-yard freestyle (1:52.32), the 500 freestyle (4:57.88) and the 1,000 freestyle (10:31.60) and now has won 19 races this season. It was her seventh victory in the 1,000, equaling the school record set by Naya Higashijima in 2002 and 2003.
