CORVALLIS – Senior Ruth Hamblin set a season-high with 20 points as the No. 8/11 Oregon State women’s basketball team notched a 61-47 win over Colorado Sunday afternoon at the Coors Events Center in Boulder, Colo.
“This is a tough trip,” said Oregon State head coach Scott Rueck. “We played the defense that we needed to and survived some offensive droughts. Sweeping the Mountain schools is never an easy thing, and it’s something we have to be happy about. I’m proud of this team and proud of the effort, and we’re looking forward to heading home.”
Hamblin shot 8-for-12 on the evening to notch the sixth 20-point game of her career.
