The Oregon State Beavers pride themselves on finding talent earlier than most.
And for good reason.
Since taking over the program, Gary Andersen and his staff have been the first major offer from dozens of prospects who wind up with 20-plus scholarships.
The downside of that is that an offer from Oregon State, at times, becomes an alarm for other Pac-12 programs to evaluate the prospect.
On Tuesday, the Beavers experienced the downside of that evaluating ability.
Just days after receiving an offer from the USC Trojans, Oregon State linebacker/safety pledge Halid Djibril announced his decommitment from the program.
