PRINCETON, N.J. – Oregon State rowers Alina Hagstrom and Paige Phillips were recently selected to participate in the U.S. Women’s Under 23 National Team Selection Camp, to be held at Princeton University.
Hagstrom, a freshman from Seattle, Wash., earned a spot in the Varsity 8 in the fall and held it throughout the season. Phillips, a sophomore from Pittsburgh, Pa., has been a regular in the varsity boat in her first two seasons in the program.
“Both Alina and Paige are well-deserving of this invitation,” Oregon State head coach Emily Ford said. “It is a testament to their hard work and to the strength of the women on this team who push them every day.
