CORVALLIS – An outstanding performance by senior Marie Gulich helped lead No. 17 Oregon State to a 75-63 win over Washington Friday afternoon, as the Beavers opened Pac-12 play with a victory.
"I'm really proud of our effort today," said Oregon State head coach . "Washington brought a great effort, just like we knew they would. They played fearless and shot the ball really well in the first half. I liked the way we gained composure as the game went along. Their system is hard to play against, and I thought we adjusted to it well.
