NEW YORK, New York – Oregon State standout Marie Gulich took the next step on her basketball journey Thursday, as she was selected by the Phoenix Mercury with the No. 12 overall pick in the WNBA Draft.
Gulich is the fourth Oregon State player selected in the last three WNBA Drafts, joining Sydney Wiese, Ruth Hamblin and Jamie Weisner Scott. Gulich was taken with the final pick of the opening round, joining Wiese as the only two first-rounders in Oregon State history.
???????Gulich earned All-Pac-12 honors of the second-straight season this year, and was also chosen as Pac-12 Media Defensive Player of the Year.
