CORVALLIS, Ore. – Oregon State volleyball incoming freshmen Maddie Goings and Kylee McLaughlin have been recognized by prepvolleyball.com as finalists for 2016 National Senior Player of the Year.
To be eligible for the award, which recognizes 97 finalists nationally, a player had to make a "massive" impact on her high school team and their state.
Goings led Aledo High School in the Fort Worth, Texas area to a 39-win season and district title in 2016. She was named the Fort Worth Star Super Team Player of the Year after registering 630 kills, 543 digs, 62 aces and 40 blocks.
