CORVALLIS — BYU's head-coaching position remains vacant, which means speculation continues to swirl about Oregon State defensive coordinator Kalani Sitake's candidacy for the job.
So it naturally became a topic during Gary Andersen's early Signing Day press conference Wednesday, where the Beavers coach said that, at that particular time, his "staff was all completely together and in a good spot" when it broke for the holidays earlier in the day.
"I don't know where it's going to be with Kalani. I really don't," Andersen said. "I'm going to support him as he moves through the process. BYU doesn't have a coach yet, and Kalani is somebody that BYU should definitely be looking at, in my opinion.
