GOLD RIVER, Calif. – Four Oregon State crews raced to bronze medal finishes and the Beavers finished third overall Sunday at Pac-12 Championships at Lake Natoma.
"The guys raced hard and four out of five boats receiving medals is a good day," head coach Gabe Winkler said. "Racing against the top teams in the country is what this conference is all about. To finish third, as a team, is a great feat in this loaded field. It was a good day with good racing for the Beavers."
In the tightest race of the day for OSU, the Beavers were dead even through the 1,000-meter mark with Stanford in the Junior Varsity 8 race.
