CORVALLIS – The headliners of a potent Cal offense arrived in Berkeley as the result of two transfers on the opposite ends of publicity spectrum.
Quarterback Davis Webb, now the nation's leader in passing yards, is an NFL prospect who stated for two seasons at Texas Tech, signed financial aid documents in the offseason to join Colorado as a graduate transfer before switching to the Golden Bears in May.
But the man who has become Webb's favorite target in the "Bear Raid" offense, which Oregon State will face Saturday at 6 p.m. in Reser Stadium, came far more under the radar.
