Former Oregon State Cornerback Xavier Crawford Drafted By Houston Texans

Oregon State has its first player drafted in 2019...sort of. Former OSU defensive back Xavier Crawford was drafted 195th overall in the sixth round by the Houston Texans on Saturday.

From 2015 to 2017, Crawford totaled 87 tackles in 17 games and one interception. Crawford only played in five games in 2017 for the Beavers due to an injury. In 2018, Crawford played a season for Central Michigan under his former OSU defensive back coach Cory Hall where he totaled 24 tackles, three for a loss, and an interception.

Crawford also broke up 12 passes last season and was a first team All-Conference selection in the Mid-American Conference.
