Craig Robinson, former Oregon State Beavers men's basketball coach, has been hired by the New York Knicks according to reports.
League sources told The Vertical that Robinson's role with the Knicks will include player development and he'll serve as general manager of the Knicks' development G League team, the Westchester Kicks.
Robinson, 55, was named the Beavers' head coach in 2008 and compiled a 94-105 (39-69 Pac-12), leading the Beavers to four College Basketball Invitationals. But his teams never reached NCAA tournaments and no NITs.
He was fired at Oregon State in May, 2014.
