Former NFL star Drew Bledsoe is a four-time Pro Bowler, a Super Bowl champion and a New England Patriots Hall of Famer.
The quarterback knows just how much effort it takes to be successful in football, and isn't one to heap unreachable expectations on young athletes, but when the Summit offensive coordinator saw Redmond's Matt Allen during an Intermountain Conference game earlier this season, he felt compelled to say something.
Allen is a 6-foot, 220-pound lineman.
Simply put, he's not big enough to become a Power 5 Conference defensive tackle or offensive guard, and doesn't scream "prospect" to 99 percent of the people that watched Panthers this season.
